เช่นเดียวกับภาคแรก Daddy s Home 2 ก็ไม่มีอะไรพิเศษแต่ก็ไม่ได้แย่เช่นกัน เป็นหนังที่ดี ไม่ได้มีอะไรมากหรือน้อยเกินไป เนื้อเรื่องไม่ได้มีอะไรให้ขำมากเท่าที่ควร แต่ก็มีส่วนที่พอใช้ได้อยู่บ้าง และก็มีส่วนที่แปลกๆ บ้าง โดยเฉพาะช่วงท้ายๆ พูดถึงตอนจบแล้ว ค่อนข้างน่าอายมาก Mark Wahlberg (Dusty) น่าจะแสดงได้ดีที่สุดบนจอ Will Ferrell (Brad) ก็ทำได้ดีพอสมควรเช่นกัน Mel Gibson (Kurt) และ John Lithgow (Don) เป็นนักแสดงหน้าใหม่ ทั้งคู่มีช่วงที่เล่นได้หนึ่งหรือสองช่วง แต่ก็ไม่มีอะไรมากไปกว่านั้น ส่วนตัวผมชอบ Lithgow มากที่สุด ผมค่อนข้างรู้สึกว่า Kurt Russell น่าจะเล่นได้ดีกว่า Kurt มาก ผมไม่ได้นึกถึงชื่อตัวละครที่ขัดแย้งกันก่อนที่จะคิดแบบนั้นด้วย ตลกดี ส่วน Linda Cardellini ก็โอเค มันจำเป็นต้องมีมากกว่านี้ แต่ก็ไม่ได้แย่ไปกว่าภาคก่อนอย่างเห็นได้ชัด ซึ่งนั่นก็ถือเป็นข้อดีสำหรับภาคต่อ
